May Update

Well... It has been a while since our last post. We have celebrated Mother's Day and Mom's birthday in the last week. Both were wonderful. Joshua is six and a half months old and is starting to slim down. He has really developed a sweet personality and it is great to see him with Noah and all the other kids that crowd around him at school and church. Noah has one more week before the end of this school year. He will have one more year at Lynn Flower's Preschool and then KINDERGARDEN!!!!!!! I can't believe it. Elisha should be heading down some time in June. Steven (aka Griff) is still working two full-time jobs but is now asking that I get a day job so he can drop one. So please be praying that the right doors will open. My brother Jeff and his wife, Donna, are expecting little Emily Addison any day now. We are all excited to meet her. We will be celebrating Noah's 4th birthday and Elisha's 11th birthday together this year. So I will send out invited once we have firmed up a date.
Again, please be praying for a job for me. Not only a job but a good job. We love y'all and are looking forward to seeing some of y'all at the barbeque for John Keller in June. God bless and keep in touch.

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the First Pres. Annual Easter Egg Hunt. It was so fun to watch the boys, Noah and Garrison, load up with eggs. There were only three kids their age, so they had free reign of one whole side. What's is the icing on the cake after an easter egg hunt in the heat? Baskin Robbins. We wrapped up the day there with the family. Yummy!!!

Joshua is growing so fast. He is over 20 lbs and 26 in. He has started rolling from his tummy on to his back. He still has only two teeth but he is definitely using them. He loves the veggies that he has been started on and I am sure will really love the fruits that I will start this week. I can't believe that he will be six months old in a couple of weeks! We are praying that his eye will clear up soon and that he won't have to have surgery to open his tear duct when he turns 1! So please join us in that.

Noah is doing great. He is about to wrap up his second year at Lynn Flowers Preschool. We are currently working on reading 10 books a week. This is part of a reading program that will give him a free pizza if he reads 60 books. I can't believe he is going to be 4 in a couple months. We are praying that Noah will start to obey and grow out of this rebellious stage.
Elisha should be here at the beginning of June and we are definitely looking forward to seeing him. We are definitely in prayer for him!!! He will be turning 11 this summer!
Wow! My boys are growing up so quickly. I am so richly blessed. I pray that we continue to seek the Lord and grow in His likeness. God bless!

Joshua and Garrison's Dedication

We spent Sunday evening over at the Keller's house in order to dedicate our wonderful boys, Joshua Griffith and Garrison Byrom, to the Lord. They are gifts from God and we are pledging to grow them in and teach them the word of God. Thank you Lord for your great gifts.

God is good!

Snip, Snip!

Joshua is growing up so fast!!! He now has two teeth, AT FOUR MONTHS OLD! We had to give him his first haircut this past Sunday. He did really well and goes completely limp when the trimmers are on his head. He is such a sweet boy. His personality has really developed and he has such a sweet one. He really doesn't cry unless there is a reason. Just another blessing.

This past Sunday we went to Trinity Baptist to listen to John Keller give his testimony. So awesome. He is an amazing miracle! Praise God!

Thank you Lord for your amazing works and fulfilling your promises.

Go Noah!!!!

Hey y'all! Today was a good day. We took Noah to school and stayed to watch him participate in the Trike-a-thon for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. He completed 25 laps! Thank goodness we didn't pledge $5 a lap! All the kids were so cute and did such a great job. Thank you to those of you that sponsored Noah. We really appreciate it. We spent the rest of the day hanging out with "Daddy" and went a second day without afternoon naps! BUT... He is worth it. We are so blessed. God bless y'all.

Wow!!! What a year this has started out to be. Joshua is growing SO FAST. I just found that he has cut his first tooth. We are all battleing serious allergies and are hoping to start feeling better very soon. Griff just had his 36th birthday. My brother, Jeff, and his wife are expecting a little girl in May. We are very excited about it. It has been a while since any of us have been around a baby girl! John Keller came home and is doing wonderful. He has been just about everywhere. He is an amazing miracle! Noah is back at school and is quickly approaching his 4th birthday! I can't believe it. A lot is going on. We hope everyone is doing well and we pray that God is richly blessing you.

Happy New Year!!!

Well... Happy New Year everyone. We are so excited to see what blessings will come in 2009. Joshua is growing like a weed. He is now eating rice cereal! He is going to be a big boy. Noah has gone back to school. I am so blessed with my boys. Steven and the boys watched the National Championship game. Even though the Sooners didn't win, they had fun with their Daddy. We also went over to the Keller's to watch the Texas game. All I have to say is... "Hook 'em!!!"

I pray that you have a blessed 2009.

Christmas '08

We started Christmas out with Joshua waiting up for Santa. He decided he wasn't going to go to bed from 3:30am to after 6:00am. Once we finally got him to sleep, Noah woke up around 6:45am very ready to open presents. He was so excited to see that Santa had eaten the cookies and drank the Diet Coke that he left out for him. Santa left him a bell on the plate. (Reference "The Polar Express") He opened his gifts and started playing with them immediately. We went to my brother and sister-in-law's (Jon and Jené) house for lunch. It was so nice to have my parents and Grammy and her new husband, Glenn, there also. The kids played and we had a really nice time there. The best part was initiating Glenn into our family tradition of "dollar gifts." This is so much fun for us as a family. Over all, we had a really good day and I think Joshua had a fabulous "first Christmas". We are gearing up for the new year. We are so thankful and blessed for everything this year. We love y'all and wish you the happiest of New Years. We pray that you are richly blessed. Thank you Lord for your many gifts and especially for the blessing of Joshua.

Merry Christmas!!!

Hello all. We are so ready for this week. Not only is it Joshua's first Christmas but our sweet Grammy is going to be here in a couple days. Noah is so excited about the presents sitting under the tree. He asks daily if he can open them. This past Wednesday, we took Joshua, Noah and Garrison to the mall to take pictures with Santa. We think this came out SO WELL!!! Garrison is such a sweet boy. He just sat there while we waited for Noah to smile. Well... Joshua is now two months old! I can't believe it. Time is just flying by. He loves to swing but needs his bear to keep him company and help hold his binky in place.
We are praying that everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! God bless and thank you Lord for your Son.
Happy Birthday Jesus!

Santa!!!!

It has been a while since my last post and I am sorry. Things are going well. We are gearing up for Christmas. Noah had his Christmas program at school this past Wednesday. He did great! He actually sang and did all the motions, it was really cute. Joshua had to go so we could take this picture with Santa. There will be more to come after the church's Christmas pageant. Joshua is now almost 12 pounds and is, for the most part, a really sweet baby. He definitely eats A LOT!!! Noah is still completely in love with Joshua. Noah was gone for about a week and a half for Grammy's wedding. We missed him for Thanksgiving but we are really glad that everyone got to see and enjoy him in Oklahoma. Plus... He got to see Elisha, which was really good. Elisha will not be able to make it down here for Christmas and we will miss him terribly, but we know that money is tight and can't wait to see him for Summer '09. I had my 29th birthday this past week and am so thankful and blessed. Well... That's about it for now. More updates to come. Merry Christmas everyone!!! We love y'all. Remember...
"Jesus is the reason for this season."

Out at Rancho Blanco

We spent Saturday out at Rancho Blanco which is the Keller's ranch. We were celebrating Caden Keller's 3rd birthday and had a really good time. Noah really enjoyed going on the hay rides, tractor rides and loved riding on the four-wheeler with his Daddy. (Mainly because Daddy drove really fast.) Joshua had a great time sleeping through it all. We are looking forward to going back out to the ranch for Thanksgiving. We wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope your bellies and hearts are full and hope for some great times with your families. We love y'all. God bless.

Update on Joshua and the Family

Well... Sorry it's been so long since our last post. Joshua is doing much, much better. He has been to the doctor twice since he came home and they say he is a "healthy" baby. He is gaining weight and is now 6 lbs 7 oz and 19 3/4" long. Noah just absolutely loves his little brother and doesn't want to leave him alone. Noah went to the fall festival last week at First Presbyterian and had a blast. He went as "Noah's Ark" and had fun with his cousin, Garrison, who went as Elmo. All the kids thought he was the real Elmo. Griff has been interviewing with Kinko's/FedEx and he has been offered the position. Praise the Lord! Although it will be hard for him to work two full time positions, we are thankful for the opportunity. Thank you Lord for our many blessings.

Joshua's Homecoming

Joshua was discharged from the hospital around 3:00 yesterday afternoon. He is still having some issues with rapid respirations and we are believing that the Lord will slow it down to a normal rate. We surprised Nana, Papa, and Noah with his homecoming. Noah is completely in love with Joshua. He constantly wants to hold him, pat him, and kiss him. It is really sweet to see his love for his little brother. We had a okay night, as most first nights with a new baby go. We know they only get better from here. We are so happy to finally have him home and are praying everything goes well with his doctor's appointment today. Thank you Lord for all your blessings.
